Note: The Auberge Ganne inn hosted 19th Century painters such as Jean François Millet and Camille Corot (members of the Barbizon School). Painters typically verntured into nearby forest in the warmer seasons and returned to Parisian studios in the winter. The inn was later converted into the Musée des Paintres de Barbizon. The upstairs rooms display Barbizon School works, including the artists' original inscriptions on the walls.

Time/UV fade. Some subtle foxing. The frame with signs of wear consistent with age and use. Please note that we have not removed this print from its frame to examine.
