A diamond and enamel RAF wings brooch, modelled with outstretched wings of graduated rose-cut diamonds in millegrain settings, heightened with a green enamel wreath and red enamel crown, 9ct white gold mounted, maker's mark JWB, length 4.2cm
Of relatively modern manufacture, with light surface wear, scuffs and nicks/chips to mount and enamel. Diamonds have variable colour and clarity, most with a greyish appearance, some stones with small chips/fractures. Hallmarked for Birmingham, date letter is difficult to read but possibly for 1990. Pin and visor safety catch are currently functioning. Gross weight approx. 4.3gm.
