Pendant: The larger blister pearl has surface imperfections, patchy brownish staining/colouration and a fracture/crease to the left side. The smaller blister pearl has a circular chip/blemish. General surface wear, scuffs, chips/nicks to the blister pearls and mount, with patchy tarnishing throughout. Areas of solder are visible to the mount, possibly as a result of repair. There is a small split to the right hand section of the mount, between one of the beads and a scroll. The mount appears to be unmarked and the designer/maker is unknown. Metal standard is untested but the mount is presumed to be silver. The chain appears to be later and has signs of general wear, with a loose clasp that will require replacement. Chain length approximately 79cm. Pendant gross weight approximately 6.1gm.
Brooch: General surface wear, scuffs, chips/nicks to the mount and gemstones, with patchy tarnishing throughout. The jadeite cabochons also have surface-reaching fractures and are untested for origin/use of treatments. Areas of solder are visible to the mount, possibly as a result of repair, and the outer edges of the mount have occasional dings and catches. The brooch fittings are possibly later added. The mount appears to be unmarked and the designer/maker is unknown. Metal standard is untested but the mount is presumed to be silver. Gross weight approximately 12.5gm.
