A pair of 18th century Italian majolica albarellos, of waisted cylindrical form, one decorated with a panel of an apostle within a wreath, the other with a panel of fish within a wreath, both with scrolling blue foliage on a white ground, the letter A scratched into the base of both, 12cm diameter x 25cm high (2)
Glaze with some pitting and scratches, both bases and rim edges rough and with small chips. Larger chip to base of the body of apostle jar, and larger raised scratch to the base of the body of the fish jar.
