The ebonised case in the form of a Georgian bracket clock with a gilt hinged carry handle. The silvered dial signed Payne of Bromley. The Coventry astral movement numbered '6558'.

The case with minor marks with dents and scratches due to age and use. The dial with some slight marks and light scratching due to use. The rear door with bevelled glass and is in need of some repair to the lower left corner. The movement is seemingly complete and in need of servicing.
